  • Is DisasterReady free?
    Yes, DisasterReady is 100% free. We support non-governmental organizations (NGOs), U.N. agencies, humanitarian and development workers, students, and volunteers by providing access to free high-quality online learning used to grow skills and increase impact.
  • In what languages is DisasterReady available?
    English, French, Spanish, and Arabic.
  • Who can use DisasterReady?
    Anyone anywhere in the world that is providing humanitarian assistance or helping develop (build back) communities after a conflict or disaster. This includes a wide range of actors that support the humanitarian and development sector such as policy makers, government ministries, community-based organizations, diaspora, etc. There is no limit to the number of people who can sign up and no limit to the number of courses each person can complete. There is no cost to take training, pass exams, or download certificates.
  • Can I recommend specific courses?
    Yes. Have your team members, partners, volunteers, and board members create a free individual account in DisasterReady. Provide the titles of the courses or certificate programs you want them to complete. Once they log in, they can use the search bar to find your recommended courses and begin their training.
  • How can I validate that training has been completed?
    Your team members, partners, volunteers, and board members can follow these simple steps to share their certificates of completion with you or your Human Resources team.
